This weekend I finally ran out of my Mary Kay eye makeup remover.  I really liked the way it worked.  Until a few months ago I rarely wore makeup, so having expensive remover was no big deal.  I have started to wear makeup three or four times a week.  (I wonder if Pinterest had any affect on that? )  Now that I wear makeup more often, I needed a cheaper solution.  Pinterest to the rescue.  I found this tutorial for eye makeup remover.  It comes from this blog. http://www.kristanlynn.com  

This was very easy and very cheap.  I used equate brand baby shampoo and vitamin E oil.  I purchased travel size bottles from Dollar Tree.    I have used this solution twice now and I found that it removed the makeup very well.  I think it worked as good as the Mary Kay.  I will say that you do notice the baby shampoo smell when you use it.  It doesn’t linger but while you are using it, you can definitely smell it.  It doesn’t bother me so I will continue to use it.  If you decide to try this I would love to know what oil you used and if you are pleased with it.
